Lil’ Wayne just updated his status and clicked the “unlike” button on the city of New York.

From MTV

Tunechi’s original comment came after he was asked what it felt like to return to New York and take the stage with Nicki Minaj at the Roseland Ballroom on August 14. Wanye, who was arrested after an NYC show in 2007 and served a year in jail on Riker’s Island started off his answer expressing his distaste for performing in the Big Apple. It was a feeling that Weezy has shared many times in the past, pointing to his dealings with the NYPD, which has made his time in NYC less than enjoyable.

“Flat out: I don’t like New York,” Weezy told MTV News on Monday night (August 20) while in Las Vegas to introduce his new line of sneakers with SUPRA.

Following his comments, NY Senator, Malcolm Smith suggested that New Yorkers wouldn’t support Lil’ Wayne, his music or concerts. Smith held a press conference in Times Square demanding an apology from Lil’ Wayne, but I doubt that will happen.
