Rihanna was dropped as the new face of Nivea before her campaign ever got a chance to hit the airwaves. Word is Nivea’s new CEO, Stefan Heidenreich is NOT a Rihanna fan with some saying that he thinks she is too “raunchy” to represent the Nivea brand. Nonetheless, Heidenreich released a short statement saying:

“I do not understand how to bring the core brand of Nivea in conjunction with Rihanna. Nivea is a company which stands for trust, family and reliability.”

One might come to the conclusion that the new head honcho doesn’t think Rihanna doesn’t represent “trust, family and reliability.” OUCH.

Rihanna responded to her dismissal but posting a picture of  Heidenreich with a description that said: “No caption necessary.”
