James and Maria first exchanged words in the winter of 2009. Maria, an established Radio personality in Atlanta and avid music lover, expressed her enthusiasm about a recording she heard on the radio that James composed. After reading Maria’s Twitter post online, James introduced himself and pleasantries lead to endless conversations. Maria talked about the joys of motherhood and her fascination with the mind’s power. James talked about his love of music and his passion to empower people through art.
Mesmerized by one another, the two decided to evolve their long distance laughter into a first date. Instant Magic. “I knew her the moment we met” best describes the immediate connection. Excited about their newfound love, Maria introduced James to “The Boys” Aj (10) and Eric (8). What started out as an introduction quickly became a destined family reunion. James had just met his sons and the boys had just met the man they now affectionately call DAD.
That first date was in December. They were engaged by January. Today the loving foursome happily live in a their beautiful home in Atlanta. What we love we empower, what we empower we attract. . Each morning James, Maria, Aj and Eric awake happier than they have ever been, and Grateful to God for attracting the life that they prayed for.
